Keelie Jones
Keelie Jones is a 21 year old senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is double majoring in Public Health and Applied Dance. Her career goals are to become a healthcare administrator with a focus on integrated mental healthcare.
Keelie states, “It is time that we address the serious public health crisis in our country, that is mental health and suicide. Crying Out Loud is my life's mission, where my team and myself are building a community for anyone and everyone to share, learn and grow.”
Jessica Valverde
Jessica Valverde has insurance, business, and financial experience of over 15 years. She studied Biology at Western Carolina University and later obtained her insurance license in six states across the south eastern United States. She is also the owner of a small business in Western NC.
Jessica states "I pride myself in being a leader in my community and advocating for inclusivity." She is very open about her struggles with her out mental health journey and is looking forward to helping others.
In 2022 the growing number of individuals suffering from mental health problems and/or contemplating suicide increased substantially. Crying Out Loud was created as an initiative to educate, inspire, and support that population.
The mission of Crying Out Loud is to provide the community with resources and help to understand the importance of mental healthcare.
